ORIGINAL IRISH COFFEE RECIPE

Ingredients :

• 3.5 cl (1 oz) Irish whiskey (Black Bush, Paddy, Tullamore Dew…)
• 9 cl (3 oz) hot medium roast espresso coffee
• 1 cl (1/3 oz) of
• 3 cl (1 oz) whipped cream

1. Heat the whisky with the sugar (over low heat so as not to boil the whisky) in a saucepan, stirring.
2. Prepare your espresso and pour it over the hot, sweetened whiskey, stir lightly.
3. Pour everything into the glass, previously rinsed with hot water, and cover the surface with whipped cream, and it’s ready!
4. Enjoy without delay!

Trick ?
To make your cream more successful, place it in the freezer for 20 minutes before whipping it vigorously.
To replace whipped cream, pour crème fraîche over the alcoholic coffee using the back of a spoon. Avoid stirring.
