Sometimes the group head of your espresso machine needs a good cleaning. If your machine has a 3-way pressure relief valve, you can clean it with a , then use this filter holder basket  blind to rinse and clean the inside of the group.

Always follow the manufacturer’s cleaning and disassembly instructions.

Backflush Instructions (each group head):

1. Insert the blank filter into the filter holder and add  a sachet of powder . Insert the filter holder into the group head.
2. Activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
3. Remove the portafilter. Activate the brew cycle and rinse the portafilter under the group head water jet. Stop the cycle.
4. Insert the filter holder into the group head. Repeat step (2) without  Puly  5 times.
5. Brew and discard a cup of espresso to ensure there is no residue left.
